2 night Explorer Trip open to the community!

Would you like to learn more about the Umpqua Explorer program and what it will be offering this (2016-2017) school year? Are you interested in spending two nights in a pristine part of our county, sitting around campfires, and learning about the plants and ecosystems of our area? Well we have good news for you! We will be hosting a two-night camping trip, July 25th-27th, to the Rogue-Umpqua Wilderness that is open to children, ages 12-17, from the whole community, free of charge! In addition, this trip we are allowing one parent/guardian to join in on the fun! Youth participants will be provided any necessary gear for the trip and all participants will be provided with food. We will be offering lessons on fishing, plant identification, navigation, and leadership, as well as games and activities! If you are interested, please sign up on our "Join" page by Friday, July 22nd! Still have some questions? Feel free to call Mallory or Ben at (541)957-7007 or connect with us through our "contact" page!
